REFRACTORY METALS & CUSTOM ENGINEERING

Tungsten & Molybdenum

Technical sourcing for refractory metals, engineered alloys and parts manufactured to drawing.

MNK-G.S.A coordinates sourcing through specialized manufacturers in Europe, Asia and other global markets. Each inquiry is reviewed against the required material family, governing specification, product form, dimensions, quantity, documentation and destination.

From Material Name to Qualified Supply Route

A buyer may start with a grade, an ASTM or ISO reference, a required composition, a drawing or only an application problem. MNK-G.S.A develops the sourcing route around the governing technical requirement and verifies the proposed material and documentation before quotation.

Strategic Product Families

Molybdenum

Pure molybdenum, TZM, TZC, lanthanated molybdenum, MoCu, MoW and MoRe materials for high-temperature, thermal, electronic and engineered applications.

Tungsten

Pure tungsten, potassium-doped tungsten, WRe, tungsten-copper composites, high-density WNiFe and WNiCu alloys, TIG electrodes and custom forms.

Explore Tungsten →

Cemented Carbides

ВК tungsten–cobalt and Т titanium–tungsten–cobalt grade families, blanks and custom tooling materials, with grade identity separated from ISO application-group correspondence.

Thermal & Electrical Composites

MoCu and WCu materials sourced by explicit composition, product form and property requirements rather than ambiguous commercial shorthand.

High-Density Alloys

WNiFe and WNiCu materials for specification-led high-density components. ASTM B777 class, binder system and properties are confirmed for each inquiry.

Parts to Drawing

Machined and fabricated components, prototypes and small series. Feasibility, tolerances, inspection and maximum component envelope are confirmed individually.

How Technical Sourcing Is Controlled

Define

Material or grade, standard, composition, product form, dimensions or drawing, quantity, destination and required delivery date.

Verify

Manufacturer capability, production route, technical equivalence, dimensional feasibility, inspection documents and export requirements.

Coordinate

Quotation, manufacturing, inspection, packing, logistics and delivery through a single MNK-G.S.A point of contact.

Standards Are Applied by Scope

Molybdenum Products

ASTM B386/B386M and B387/B387M apply to defined flat and long-product families. ASTM B1024/B1024M covers isotropic pure molybdenum monolithic forms.

Tungsten Products

ASTM B760 covers wrought unalloyed tungsten flat products. ASTM F73 and F288 have specific wire and end-use scopes.

Composites & Heavy Alloys

ASTM B702 is limited to compliant copper-tungsten electrical contacts. ASTM B777 defines four classes of machinable high-density tungsten-base material.

Documentation and Inspection

Material Identity

Grade or composition, governing specification, production route and condition are checked before quotation.

Inspection Package

Required MTC, chemistry, dimensional results, mechanical or physical properties and additional inspection are defined in the inquiry. Where the European document route applies, specify the exact EN 10204 inspection-document type before quotation.

Global Sourcing

Public product ranges represent MNK global sourcing capability, not the inventory or guaranteed envelope of one unnamed supplier.

Relevant ASTM Tungsten References

Use the relevant ASTM reference together with the customer specification, drawing, required product form and inspection route. The standard number alone does not establish grade equivalence, stock availability, conformity or fitness for service.

Specialized ASTM Wire References

Use the relevant ASTM wire reference together with the customer specification, drawing, required product form and inspection route. The standard number alone does not establish grade equivalence, stock availability, conformity or fitness for service.
