International Standards Reference Index

ISO Standards for Industrial Materials

A procurement-focused index for hardmetals, stainless and duplex steels, corrosion-resistant alloys, metallic-material testing and inspection documentation.

Reference policy

Verified Editions, Official Access and Scope Control

This index contains original MNK-G.S.A summaries and links to official ISO catalogue records. Protected standard text, tables, limits and acceptance criteria are not reproduced.

Standard identity, edition, publication status, material grade, product form, test method and inspection requirements must be verified for every inquiry. “Under review” and “revision planned” indicate that a fresh ISO catalogue check is required before quotation or order placement.

References that collect designations from several systems do not, by themselves, establish grade equivalence. Equivalence must be demonstrated through the governing specification, manufacturer data and inspection documents.

Hardmetals and cemented carbides

ISO References for Hardmetals and Cemented Carbides

These standards support classification, microstructural assessment, density, mechanical testing and application of WC-Co and related hardmetal families. They do not replace the customer’s grade specification, drawing or application-specific acceptance criteria.

Fastener Standards — ISO 3506 Family

For finished fasteners, specify the product standard, geometry, thread, material group, property class and required inspection documents. A raw-material certificate alone does not establish finished-fastener compliance.

Specify the Governing ISO Standard

Send the ISO designation and edition together with the material grade, product form, dimensions, quantity, inspection-document requirements and delivery destination.

Nickel and Nickel-Alloy Forgings

ISO 9725 provides the current general-purpose ISO route for nickel and nickel-alloy forgings; the exact alloy, condition and inspection requirements must still be stated.
