NICKEL-ALLOY TUBES FOR CORROSIVE & HIGH-TEMPERATURE SERVICE
Nickel Alloy Tubes
Grade- and specification-controlled sourcing for seamless, welded, straight and U-bent nickel-alloy tubing.
MNK-G.S.A coordinates nickel-alloy tube sourcing by exact UNS or approved material designation, product standard, seamless or welded route, outside diameter, wall, length, condition, testing, inspection documents and destination.
A Trade Name Is Not a Complete Tube Specification
A nickel-alloy family name must be converted into an exact UNS or approved European material designation and paired with the correct tube standard. Process medium, pressure, temperature, fabrication route and equipment code determine whether a heat-exchanger, general tube or pipe specification applies.
Material Definition and Supply Scope
Alloy 600 / 690 Families
Nickel–chromium–iron tube families such as UNS N06600 and N06690 sourced by exact grade, condition, product standard and service requirements.
Alloy 625 Family
UNS N06625 seamless pipe and tube sourced under the applicable ASTM B444 grade and heat-treatment condition, or another explicitly approved product specification.
Alloy 825 Family
UNS N08825 tube and pipe sourced by exact product standard, solution condition, dimensions, testing and required corrosion documentation.
Ni–Cr–Mo Families
Hastelloy-type and other nickel–chromium–molybdenum tube families sourced by UNS designation and the correct seamless or welded product specification.
Heat-Exchanger Tubes
Straight and U-bent condenser or heat-exchanger tubing supplied by OD, minimum or average wall, length schedule, bend geometry, end condition and test plan.
Process and Custom Tubing
Seamless or welded tubes for process, pressure, instrumentation and fabricated assemblies, with the distinction between tube and pipe maintained.
Typical Global Manufacturing Capability
Heat-Exchanger Portfolio
Alleima publishes heat-exchanger tubing from approximately 12 to 40 mm outside diameter across multiple stainless and nickel-alloy families.
Straight Lengths
The same specialist programme publishes straight lengths up to approximately 30 m for selected grade–OD–wall combinations, plus U-bent supply.
Broader Seamless Programme
Tubacex publishes an overall seamless stainless and nickel-alloy manufacturing range of approximately 19–250 mm OD, while its heat-exchanger programme describes approximately 6–250 mm OD across several units and products.
ASTM B163 Scope
ASTM B163-26 covers seamless nickel-alloy heat-exchanger tubes through 76.2 mm OD within stated minimum- and average-wall limits.
Wall and Length
Wall thickness, maximum straight length, U-bend geometry and tolerances depend on alloy, route and standard. They are confirmed as one complete dimensional requirement.
No Combined Maximum
The smallest heat-exchanger OD and the largest seamless programme OD do not establish one universal stock or manufacturing range for every nickel alloy.
Standards and Documentation
ASTM B163-26
Current specification for seamless nickel and nickel-alloy condenser and heat-exchanger tubes, covering outside diameter with average or minimum wall.
ASTM B444-23
Current specification for cold-worked seamless pipe and tube in defined nickel–chromium–molybdenum–niobium and nickel–chromium–molybdenum–silicon alloys, including UNS N06625 within its scope.
ASTM B167 / B423
B167 and B423 apply to defined nickel–chromium–iron and nickel–iron–chromium–molybdenum–copper seamless pipe and tube families. Current edition and UNS coverage are checked at quotation.
ASTM B622 and Welded Standards
Other Ni–Cr–Mo seamless and welded tube families may fall under B622, B626 or another product-specific document. The exact alloy and route determine the standard.
EN 10204:2004
Inspection-document type, including 3.1 or 3.2 where available, is specified with chemistry, heat treatment, mechanical, dimensional, NDE and traceability requirements.
ISO 6207 Is Withdrawn
ISO 6207:1992 for seamless nickel and nickel-alloy tube is officially withdrawn and is not presented as a current procurement standard. A replacement requirement must be agreed explicitly.
Application Context
Heat Exchangers and Condensers
Straight and U-bent tubing for chemical, refinery, power and other thermal equipment under the applicable product and equipment code.
Corrosive Process Systems
Nickel-alloy tubing selected against process chemistry, concentration, temperature, pressure, velocity and contamination risk.
High-Temperature and Critical Service
Tube and pipe for furnaces, energy systems and engineered equipment where grade, condition, joining and inspection must be defined together.
Capability Note
Published dimensional ranges describe demonstrated manufacturing capability across specialist sources, not guaranteed stock and not one universal mill envelope. Diameter, thickness, width, length, condition, tolerance and quantity must be confirmed as one complete combination for each inquiry.
