- AWS A5.9/A5.9M:2022 is the applicable AWS classification framework for bare stainless-steel welding electrodes, wires, strips and rods.
- A current manufacturer product page identifies the filler as AWS A5.9 ER316LSi and EN ISO 14343-A W 19 12 3 L Si.
- ISO 14343:2025 is the current international classification standard. ISO 14343:2017 has been withdrawn.
