Scope in Procurement
- ISO 6848:2015 specifies classification requirements for nonconsumable tungsten electrodes used for inert-gas-shielded arc welding and for plasma welding, cutting and thermal spraying.
- The ISO designation is a classification route, not proof that every commercially described electrode has the required chemistry, marking, dimensions or inspection documentation.
