Scope in Procurement

The current ASTM B677-26 scope lists UNS N08034, N08354 and N08935 seamless cold-worked or hot-finished pipe and tube for general corrosive service. The current scope and an authorised copy control the inquiry.

RFQ and Product Controls

• Exact UNS N08034, N08354 or N08935 and ASTM B677-26 edition
• Process medium, temperature, pressure duty and governing design specification
• Pipe or tube designation, dimensions, wall basis, length and tolerances
• Cold-worked or hot-finished seamless route and solution-treated condition
• Chemical and mechanical requirements for the selected alloy
• Hydrostatic or nondestructive examination and any supplementary requirements
• ASTM B829 requirements, inspection document, heat-and-lot traceability, marking and destination

The material identity must remain traceable from the producing heat and lot through manufacture, seamless processing, heat treatment, testing, inspection documentation, marking and final release.

Scope Boundary

The official ASTM product page checked on 1 September 2026 contains an abstract with older alloy designations while its current scope lists N08034, N08354 and N08935. MNK therefore uses the current scope and requires the authorised edition before quotation; no legacy designation is treated as current automatically.
