HARDMETAL, CEMENTED CARBIDE & TOOLING MATERIALS
Hardmetal & Tooling
Grade-controlled sourcing for cemented-carbide materials, blanks, wear components and tooling parts to drawing.
MNK-G.S.A supports machining, forming, wear and industrial tooling inquiries by separating verified grade identity, properties, application correspondence, geometry, manufacturing route and inspection requirements.
No False Grade Equivalence
A GOST grade, manufacturer designation and ISO 513 application group are not automatically direct equivalents. MNK-G.S.A labels the relation type, reviews chemistry and properties, and confirms the proposed material for the customer application before quotation.
Materials, Components & Sourcing Routes
ВК / VK Tungsten–Cobalt Grades
ВК3, ВК6, ВК8, ВК10, ВК15, ВК20, ВК25 and ВК30 families sourced by exact certificate, properties, form and dimensions.
Т / T Titanium–Tungsten–Cobalt Grades
Т30К4, Т15К6, Т14К8, Т5К10 and Т5К12 supplied with application-group correspondence separated from chemical grade identity.
Rods, Plates & Blanks
Round rods, blocks, plates, strips, inserts and near-net blanks quoted by grade, grain size, dimensions, grinding allowance and condition.
Wear Components
Bushings, nozzles, guides, dies, seats and other wear parts produced to drawing and verified against the required material and properties.
Tooling Components
Cutting, forming, heading and drawing-tool components sourced as blanks or finished parts after geometry and application review.
Machining & Tooling Applications
Industry-specific sourcing route for material, operation, performance, inspection and repeat supply.
Steel-Based Tooling Materials
Tool Steels & Special Engineering Steels covers cold-work, hot-work and high-speed steel in plate, block, bar, forgings and parts to drawing. Cemented carbides and tool steels remain separate material families.
Engineering and Procurement Controls

MNK-G.S.A Sourcing Role
MNK-G.S.A reviews the technical requirement, identifies suitable manufacturing and stockholding routes across Europe, Asia and other global markets, and coordinates documentation, inspection, packing and delivery. Any material recommendation remains subject to the governing design, specification and approval route.
Relevant ISO Hardmetal References
Use the applicable reference together with the customer drawing, manufacturer grade data and governing purchase specification. A standard designation alone does not establish grade equivalence, stock availability, conformity or fitness for service.
- ISO 513:2012 procurement reference
- ISO 3327:2009 procurement reference
- ISO 3369:2006 procurement reference

- ISO 28079:2026 procurement reference
- ISO 6507-1:2023 Vickers hardness reference — includes hardmetals within its stated scope; the governing product standard controls the test condition.
- ISO 6508-1:2023 Rockwell hardness reference — use only where the selected scale and product requirement are applicable.
Relevant ASTM Hardmetal Test Methods
Use the relevant ASTM test-method reference together with the customer specification, drawing, required product form and inspection route. The standard number alone does not establish grade equivalence, stock availability, conformity or fitness for service.
- ASTM B276-21 procurement reference
- ASTM B294-22 procurement reference

- ASTM E18-25 Rockwell hardness reference — use only where the selected scale and governing product requirement are applicable.
- ASTM E92-26 Vickers and Knoop hardness reference — a general metallic-materials test method; the hardmetal product specification must define whether it governs the test.
