The Latin WCo and Chinese YG designations are included as supplier- and manufacturer-referenced sourcing designations. Their listing does not establish automatic equivalence with the corresponding ВК grade. Exact composition, grain size, properties and governing specifications must be verified for every inquiry.
Sourcing Experience
MNK-G.S.A has completed a commercial supply of ВК25 specified according to ТУ 48-19-60-78. In that sourcing case, the supplier used the designations WCo25 / YG25 and declared a composition of 75% WC and 25% Co.
For every new inquiry, the requested grade, composition, supply form and inspection documents are verified before quotation.

Standards and Verification
Depending on customer requirements, material may be sourced against ТУ 48-19-60-78 and supported by applicable international verification methods.
ISO 4883:1978 provides an X-ray fluorescence method for determining metallic elements in presintered and sintered hardmetals, including materials based on tungsten and titanium carbides and their binder metals. It is a chemical-analysis standard and is not presented as a direct grade equivalent to ТУ 48-19-60-78.
Equivalence between grades must be established from manufacturer datasheets, certificates and the customer’s governing specification.
Application Context
High-cobalt WC-Co hardmetals may be considered where toughness and resistance to impact or heavy forming loads are important. Manufacturer catalogues for certain grades list cold-heading and drawing-die applications.
Cemented-carbide families are also widely used in drilling, milling, turning, tapping, wear components and other industrial tooling. Suitability depends on the exact grade, microstructure, geometry and operating conditions and must be verified for each application.
Supply Forms and Custom Manufacturing
Depending on the grade, manufacturing route and inquiry, supply may include powder mixtures, sintered blanks or parts manufactured to drawing. Availability, dimensions, technical documentation and destination requirements are confirmed for every inquiry.
