- Finished-lot test traceability and inspection documents
A raw-material or semi-finished-product certificate alone does not establish compliance of the finished bolting component. Traceability must continue through manufacture, testing, marking and the released lot.
Scope Boundary
Low-temperature suitability cannot be inferred from alloy name alone. Grade, class, diameter, heat treatment, impact-test conditions and results, and the mating nut must satisfy the applicable specification, design requirements and order.
