Scope in Procurement
- ASTM A312/A312M is a pipe route. NPS or outside diameter, schedule or wall thickness, length, manufacturing method, grade and end condition must be stated.
- Current ASTM B673 and B677 records state that UNS N08904 welded pipe and seamless tube or pipe moved to the A312/A269 routes.
- Pipe compliance does not establish tube, plate, bar or forging compliance. Each product form retains its own standard and acceptance requirements.
