A raw-material certificate does not establish finished-fastener compliance. The report must trace the finished lot, tests and marking to the exact standard and order.
Scope Boundary
ASTM F593 is a finished-fastener specification, not a raw-bar specification or universal marine approval. Metric, special-head, high-temperature or other fastener routes may require different standards.
