Scope in Procurement
- EN 10088-3:2023 specifies technical delivery conditions for semi-finished products, hot- or cold-formed bars, rods, wire, sections and bright products in corrosion-resistant stainless steels.
- The ordered section, manufacturing condition, surface, dimensions and grade must be stated. Similar product names do not make pressure-service and general-purpose routes interchangeable.
- The standard does not replace flat-product, tube, pipe, pressure-forging or finished-component specifications.
