Scope in Procurement
- ASTM A269/A269M is a tubing route. Outside diameter, wall thickness, length, manufacturing method, grade and condition must be ordered together.
- The current official grade table includes UNS N08904. The legacy ASTM B677 route must not be used to imply current N08904 tubing coverage.
- Tubing and pipe are not interchangeable procurement descriptions. Pipe inquiries normally require the applicable ASTM A312/A312M route and pipe-dimensional data.
