Scope in Procurement
- ASTM A182/A182M is a component and forging route, not a generic certificate for every stainless mill product.
- The ordered grade, component type, pressure class, heat treatment, dimensions and applicable piping or pressure code must be identified.
- Finished flanges, fittings, valve parts and rough forgings can require different dimensional, machining, testing and supplementary requirements.
