HEAT-TRANSFER TUBING FOR INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS
Heat Exchanger & Condenser Tubing
Multi-material sourcing for straight and U-bent tubes against the exact service and product specification.
MNK-G.S.A coordinates sourcing of stainless, duplex, nickel-alloy, titanium and copper-alloy tubing by material grade, governing standard, seamless or welded route, outside diameter, wall, length or U-bend geometry, testing, documentation and destination.
Service Conditions Drive Material and Standard Selection
A heat-exchanger application name does not identify a safe material. Process medium, chloride level, pressure, temperature, velocity, fouling, tube-sheet material, fabrication route and design code must be reviewed before a tube grade or standard is accepted.
Material Definition and Supply Scope
Austenitic Stainless Steel
304/304L, 316/316L, 316Ti, 321/321H and higher-alloy austenitic tube families sourced within the applicable seamless or welded product specification.
Duplex & Super Duplex
2205, 2304, 2507 and other duplex tube families for approved service conditions, with solution treatment, phase balance, corrosion testing and fabrication requirements defined.
Nickel Alloys
Seamless nickel and nickel-alloy condenser or heat-exchanger tubes sourced by UNS grade, condition, OD, wall, length and required testing.
Titanium
Seamless and welded titanium tube families, including commercially pure and alloyed grades within the selected ASTM scope, for condenser, evaporator and heat-exchanger service.
Copper–Nickel & Copper Alloys
CuNi 90/10, CuNi 70/30 and other listed copper-alloy condenser tube families sourced by exact UNS designation, temper, dimensions and inspection.
Straight and U-Bent Tubes
Straight lengths, U-bent tubes and replacement bundles require complete dimensional schedules, bend data, leg tolerances, end condition, testing and identification.
Typical Global Manufacturing Capability
Specialist Heat-Exchanger Range
Alleima publishes a heat-exchanger portfolio from approximately 12 to 40 mm outside diameter, with special sizes by agreement.
Straight Length
The same manufacturer publishes straight lengths up to approximately 30 m for selected heat-exchanger tubing. Achievable length depends on grade, OD, wall and route.
U-Bent Tubes
U-bent supply is available for selected stainless, duplex, nickel-alloy and other tube families. Bend radius, leg lengths, tangent lengths, heat treatment and testing are project-specific.
Broader Mill Capability
Tubacex publishes an overall seamless stainless and nickel-alloy heat-exchanger programme spanning approximately 6–250 mm OD across multiple manufacturing units and products; not every grade is available at both limits.
ASTM Scope Examples
ASTM B163 covers nickel-alloy tubing through 76.2 mm OD within stated wall limits; ASTM A213 publishes a much broader specification scope that is not a stock-size promise.
No Synthetic Envelope
The smallest OD, thinnest wall, longest tube and tightest U-bend may come from different mills or grades and are never combined automatically into one offer.
Standards and Documentation
ASTM A213/A213M-25
Current specification for seamless ferritic and austenitic alloy-steel boiler, superheater and heat-exchanger tubes within its defined grade and dimensional scope.
ASTM A249/A249M
Applies to welded austenitic steel boiler, superheater, heat-exchanger and condenser tubes. The current edition and grade are confirmed at quotation.
ASTM A789/A789M
Covers seamless and welded ferritic/austenitic stainless steel tubing for general service and is used for selected duplex heat-exchanger grades where the design requirement permits.
ASTM B163-26 / B338-17(2026)
B163 covers seamless nickel-alloy condenser and heat-exchanger tubes; B338 covers seamless and welded titanium and titanium-alloy tubes for condensers and heat exchangers.
ASTM B111/B111M-24
Current specification for seamless copper and copper-alloy condenser tubes and ferrule stock, including listed copper–nickel UNS grades.
EN 10216-5:2021 / EN 10217-7:2021
European delivery standards for seamless and welded stainless steel tubes for pressure purposes. Applicability depends on product route, grade and equipment design requirements.
Application Context
Process and Chemical Industry
Coolers, condensers, evaporators and reboilers selected against process chemistry, pressure, temperature and corrosion risk.
Marine and Seawater Systems
Condenser and cooler tubing for verified seawater or chloride-bearing service, with material choice governed by system design and operating conditions.
Energy, Water and Industrial Utilities
New equipment, retubing and replacement bundles for power, desalination, water treatment and industrial utility systems.
Capability Note
Published dimensional ranges describe demonstrated manufacturing capability across specialist sources, not guaranteed stock and not one universal mill envelope. Diameter, thickness, width, length, condition, tolerance and quantity must be confirmed as one complete combination for each inquiry.
Relevant EN Product-Form References
These references support order preparation by product form. The current authorised standard, material grade, edition, design code and project documents must be verified before quotation.
Relevant ISO References
Use the current authorised edition together with the governing product specification, project requirements and inspection documents. A standards reference does not establish automatic grade equivalence or product approval.
