Scope
What This Standard Covers
ASTM B443-26 covers rolled flat products in nickel-chromium-molybdenum-columbium alloy UNS N06625 and nickel-chromium-molybdenum-silicon alloy UNS N06219.
The specification addresses the ordered dimensions, chemical composition, tensile and yield properties, elongation and other product requirements. Complete acceptance limits remain in the official ASTM publication.
Covered materials
Alloys, Conditions and Product Forms
The purchaser must state the exact UNS number and required heat-treatment grade or condition. They are not interchangeable labels.
- UNS N06625, Grade 1 — annealed condition, normally used within the service-temperature range described by the standard;
- UNS N06625, Grade 2 — solution-annealed condition for the elevated-temperature context defined by the standard;
- UNS N06219 — supplied in solution-annealed condition;
- covered flat forms are plate, sheet and strip.
Inquiry preparation
Ordering and Verification Points
Prepare the inquiry against the governing project specification. State:
- the full ASTM designation and required edition;
- the exact UNS number and ordered heat-treatment or product condition;
- product form, dimensions, tolerances, surface requirements and quantity;
- inspection-document type, tests, supplementary requirements and acceptance criteria;
- drawing references, packing instructions and delivery destination.
Cross-reference
Relationship to Other Standards
ASTM B446 covers certain nickel-chromium-molybdenum-columbium rod and bar products, while ASTM B444 and B705 address specified pipe and tube families. Product form and UNS number determine the relevant specification.
Shared commercial names do not establish equivalence. Any comparison with EN, ISO, DIN, manufacturer grades or project specifications must be verified from governing technical documents and certificates.

Related Rod and Bar Route
A shared UNS designation does not make flat-product and bar conditions interchangeable. Use ASTM B446 where its alloy and rod/bar scope applies.
Related Nickel-Alloy Tubular Route
For specified cold-worked seamless pipe and tube in the B444 alloy families, use the tubular standard and its condition requirements.
