What This Standard Covers
ASTM B861-24 covers titanium and titanium-alloy seamless pipe intended for general corrosion-resistant and elevated-temperature service.
Permitted delivery conditions differ by grade, so grade, UNS number and required condition must be considered together.

The specification includes chemical and room-temperature mechanical requirements and product tests applicable to seamless pipe.
Service suitability remains dependent on design pressure, temperature, medium, corrosion allowance and the governing piping or equipment code.

- full ASTM designation and required edition
- grade and UNS number
- nominal pipe size or outside diameter, wall thickness or schedule, and length
- manufacturing and heat-treatment condition, tolerances, straightness and end preparation
- required tests, supplementary requirements, inspection documents, marking, quantity and destination
