ASTM A1014/A1014M invokes ASTM A962/A962M common requirements. Alloy designation alone is insufficient: the bolting product must follow the complete ordered manufacturing and test route.

UNS N07718 is a material designation, not automatic proof of ASTM A1014/A1014M compliance. A general Alloy 718 certificate cannot replace evidence for the required bolting manufacture, tests, marking and released lot.
