CUSTOM MANUFACTURING & PARTS TO DRAWING
Custom Tungsten & Molybdenum Parts
Specification-led sourcing for machined and fabricated refractory-metal components, prototypes and small series.
MNK-G.S.A reviews the required material, drawing, dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, quantity, inspection package and destination before selecting a suitable manufacturing source.
The Drawing Governs the Manufacturing Route
There is no single universal size or tolerance table for custom refractory-metal parts. Manufacturing feasibility depends on material family, starting stock, geometry, wall thickness, holes and threads, tolerances, surface condition, inspection requirements and quantity.
Materials for Drawing-Based Inquiries
Pure Molybdenum & TZM
High-temperature and engineered components produced from an agreed grade, production route and certified starting material.
Pure Tungsten & W-Re
Dense, high-temperature components and specialized wire or rod-derived parts, subject to material and geometry feasibility.
MoCu & WCu
Thermal and electrical composite parts specified by explicit composition, physical-property requirements and drawing.
WNiFe & WNiCu
High-density parts sourced by ASTM B777 class where applicable, binder system, density and mechanical requirements.
MoLa, MoW, MoRe & TZC
Special molybdenum-alloy components sourced only after composition, condition and source capability are confirmed.
Cemented Carbide Parts
ВК and Т grade blanks or finished parts require exact grade identity, grain structure, properties, geometry and inspection definition.
Potential Manufacturing Routes
Machining
Depending on material and geometry, the selected manufacturer may use turning, milling, drilling, grinding or electrical-discharge machining.
Fabrication
Components may be developed from rod, plate, sheet, foil or purpose-made blanks. Joining and fabrication feasibility are material-specific.
Inspection
Dimensional inspection, chemistry, material certificates, mechanical or physical testing and additional checks are agreed before production.
Information Required for Quotation
Material
Material family, grade or composition, governing standard and any approved alternatives.
Drawing
Complete drawing and revision, dimensions, tolerances, holes, threads, edges and critical characteristics.
Surface
Required surface finish, coating or special cleaning, together with protected or functional areas.
Quantity
Prototype, first article, batch quantity and potential repeat demand.
Documentation
MTC, certificate type, inspection plan, dimensional report, traceability and any third-party inspection.
Delivery
Destination, required delivery date, packing requirements and any export or import constraints.
Manufacturing Feasibility
Custom machined and fabricated parts are available according to specification or drawing. Tolerances, maximum component envelope, minimum features, achievable surface finish, inspection method, MOQ and lead time are confirmed individually after technical review.
