Potassium-doped tungsten is normally controlled by a manufacturer datasheet or customer specification defining grade, dopant, processing condition and required properties.
No Universal ASTM Grade
ASTM B760 applies to wrought unalloyed tungsten flat products and is not presented as a general W-K wire or rod specification.
WVM Manufacturer Reference
Published manufacturer literature describes WVM as potassium-doped tungsten with a stacked microstructure and improved high-temperature dimensional stability; WVM remains a manufacturer material designation.
WK Manufacturer Reference
Specialist manufacturer literature describes pure and potassium-doped WK rod and W-K nonsag wire, with exact availability tied to the selected product and size.
